We first met they guys at Wingmen twelve months ago right at the start of their and our inception. We knew immediately that we wanted to support such a meaningful service; the similarities in our philosophies were so aligned that it just 'had to be'.
So rather than just commit to a donation, we suggested developing a coffee just for them, one that would not only generate an ongoing income, but also one that would help spread the word and encourage people to check in on those around them. Wingmen believe in the power of 'Connection', and at Kinda we know first-hand how good it is to chat over a great cup of coffee. One simple act of kindness, a call or a catch up, could really have a huge impact on someone's life.
What is Wingmen and what do they do?
Wingmen provides a dedicated phone line where any man can be listened to in complete anonymity and without judgement.
Wingmen comprises a group of men who, for various reasons, have experienced the anguish of life’s darker moments. We have suffered or we have been exposed to the suffering of those close to us... and we want to make a difference.
Our experience has taught us that suffering in silence can be soul-destroying. We
believe that making a connection with another person is the first step towards finding a resolution and that simply connecting can prevent an issue from becoming a crisis.
